Hooray for me!

YAY!! I'm so excited y'all! I finally unlocked the power of water marbling! LOL I've seen so many other people do it but not explain HOW they did said water marble. Frustrating, right? Well, yesterday I was tweeting away and I saw my blogger go-to person, Kelly, post about her Step by Step Water Marbling Tutorial & Video. I was like SCORE!! Okay, okay, on to the finished product.

I love that my nails were so shiny, I reflected in them, lol

 I did my pinky finger first it didn't set well, as you can tell from the bubbles >-< I'm not entirely sure what caused the bubbles but if I had to guess it's that water got underneath the polish as I submerged my nail. *shrugs* I will list the products I used below but I set it as: base, 2 coats of white, rainbow sponge application, marble, & top coat. I decided to do a semi-flower rainbow design for my first go round.

On my right hand, I decide to test my luck & do a Valentine's Day marble mani. It came out semi-well. I would wear but then again I'm proud of myself for my accomplishment, lol. I did middle finger first as a torn or broken heart, next my ring finger is conflicted heart, index is an open heart, & lastly my [accidental] upside down flower. I will list the products I used below but I set it as: base, 2 coats of white, marble, & top coat.

Rainbow of looovvveee

So, this was my very first time trying water marbling at all and must admit that I gave myself a big pat on the back. =) I do highly recommend going to Kelly's blog & check out her tutorial.
